I - just wanna lay down and die. [19 Jul 2008|01:31am] ninchu Today I said goodbye to my best friend Yuji. He won't be in Berlin from tomorrow on, so I had to say goodbye today - goodbye for a year. It was so so sad, because we really somehow depend on each other. We're "stupidity²" and everything and it's really hard imagining an everday life where he isn't around. So saying goodbye seriously sucked. I will miss him a huge lot. To be honest, until now, I hadn't realised, that I will be in Japan in 11 days (flight will be in 10, though). It was all very far away. But now, having said goodbye to a very important person in my life, it becomes more real, especially the bad things about it. I'm leaving everything behind, even if it's just for a year, it's all my stuff. It's a bit like a new beginning. And deep inside I'm very afraid of failing, because that's something I don't think I could ever forgive myself. It's once in  a lifetime chance, I just mustn't blow it. Still, when wandering the streets of Kreuzberg (just because I don't like Köpenick, where I live, too much), it's a very sad feeling, knowing that I'll leave soon. I love this city, it's beautiful and it's where I feel home. In 11 days, somewhere else will be my home (and I cannot even recall the adress of the hotel I will be staying at for 3 days xD) and I will have to learn to love this city. And I just hope it's possible, because I want to so much. So I wish you a good night, sleep well. post comment
